Padraig Lynch at the Waldock Art Gallery in Dublin, Ireland
Padraig is a former primary school teacher who has a degree in the history of art and studied painting under the late George Collie RHA at his studio in Dublin, Ireland. He is a landscape and still life painter.
Traditionally, many landscapes are of the west coast of Ireland, Donegal, Antrim and the Mournes. Padraig paintings are of the east coast - pastoral scenes from Louth and Meath, and seascapes of the coastline from Carlingford to Skerries.
He has exhibited widely, from Atlanta in the USA to Singapore in the Far East. He shows regularly at the Royal Hibernian Academy of Arts Annual and Banquet Exhibitions in Ireland. His work is in the private collections of past Presidents of Ireland, including Mary Robinson and Paddy Hillery.
His paintings are also in the collections of Irish government buildings and many private collections in the USA, Ireland and Europe.
